Reyna believes that advocacy in Health Care works if there is a focus on whole person care; because life’s unexpected chaos cannot be standardized, and the health plan of a person should be individualized based on the social determinates of health.
Reyna brings to CHPW, over 12 years of experience working in local CHC’s, Hospitals, Non-Profit Organization’s, and the Insurance sector. Reyna has held roles from administrative to customer service, case management and sales & insurance.
She has always been the advocate in her family from a young age, helping her non-English speaking parents translate forms from Spanish to English. She is also the current voice of her youngest in navigating his individualized needs as a neurodivergent student. The life’s adversities she has had to face have become the drive to serve the roles she has held.
Outside of her role at CHPW, Reyna loves spending time with her family and friends for giggles and wiggles! She is a newbie to the thrill of getting lost in the mountains for the amazing views. She has two sons that remind her daily that there is beauty in the mess. She and her sons are a family that loves God and loving people!
